How Do I Get Oovoo To Work

The Confessions

repositioning some books at home, I have found a book I bought last year for these dates "Marks & Spencer" (for which this sounds like Chinese, is a famous supermarket chain in the United Kingdom). I was left with the desire of having bought a Subbuteo board and so I have set to work and here I leave a small article about the game.

The game was invented in 1929 in the city of Liverpool, England, by William L. Keelings with the name of New Footy and existed until 1947 and establishing the most legendary brand Subbuteo game. Subbuteo New footy then absorbed and modernized the table football. . At that time it was played with figures similar to today but made of cardboard on a metal base.

As a field of play wearing a painted army green canvas with chalk, which was already included. The game reached its peak of popularity in the 60 once the post-war. By then it was manufactured by Subbuteo Sports Games that also had versions of rugby, cricket and hockey.

At first it was a toy aimed at children aged between 11 and 16, were created leagues across England to the extent that each child had their own Subbuteo. Later this game surpasses the United Kingdom being very famous also in Europe.

Today
Subbuteo first editions have become objects of worship and something highly prized by collectors.

Flick Kick you. A History of Subbuteo iustrada.

Below you can see a documentary on the history of Subbuteo and table football. Although this in English is worth a visit. A gem for lovers of table football.
